WE HAVE RECEIVED ALREADY MORE THAN 200 CHRISTIAN
REFUGEES FROM SYRIAN AND FROM AROUND THE WORLD IN BRAZIL
Dear Friends,
We do not know how many of you have followed the last news, but MORE INTERNATIONAL (MAIS) has opened an office in the United States and has now a property of 250,000 m2 in Curitiba, Brazil to receive refugees. The challenge now is to build the City of Refuge (video link is above).
In the area, there will be childcare (we expect the arrival of many children in this new format), small agrarian work allowing adult refugees to maintain some semblance of normalcy and dignity, an education center of language and culture, etc.
We need to build 14 houses by the end of January, and the cost (material) of each of the houses is R$ 25,000 (approximately U$7,000).
They will be made of prefabricated slabs, take up minimal time and use donated labor. This will allow us to begin receiving refugees again in just a few weeks and in larger numbers than we could have ever handled in the past.
Our message aims to challenge you to join us as you can, perhaps conducting an internal campaign this Christmas among friends, within your church, or at your business. Maybe someone you know can help us with part of one of the houses. Thank you in advance for your trust.

We
will continue to fulfill this role of sharing these and other needs and
challenges of the suffering church, believing that those who are able
to contribute will and those who are not will continue to pray for us.
A home for a refugee family is US$ 7,000. ANY HELP or contribution is obviously more than welcome!
May God bless each one of you in a powerful way,
