Partial Report from Madagascar Kingdom Trip

Apostle John Kelly;

Greetings from Madagascar. As you know I will be here until next Monday, August 24th.

I am excited to share with you about what God is doing in this nation. As far as I know they are in the first steps of bringing apostles together for national transformation and they are advanced in their efforts of transformation in the sphere of politics.

In 2012 a friend of mine from Guinea Bissau who was a director of  Transworld Radio in South Africa asked me to receive a Malagasy  man called Camille in my house for one week: a pastor, a telecommunications engineer, college professor and by then he was working as the General Director of the Ministry of Culture. The Minister of Culture, Elia is a tiny but powerful business woman of God who had run in 2006 for President of Madagascar, the first time a woman has ever run.

I shared with Camille some Kingdom principles and the 7 mountain strategy teaching. I wrote a quick essay about this subject and shared the document with him. I also gave him some books on the apostolic movement, market place leaders, and city transformation from some of ICAL leaders.

When he told me that he had a core group of church and business leaders that were working together to "take the power" of the country democratically, they had plans to prepare a candidate to run for president and he needed to visit the World Evangelization headquarters in New York, I canceled my schedule for the following three days to be with him to fellowship. Camille is also the key leader of that organization in his country and in Africa. In few words I grasped the possibility of being part of disciplining a nation. We know the only way to disciple a nation is through strong influencers. Here I am serving these brothers and sisters who love their nation so much that they refuse to be theoretical, but they are doing practical things to further the Kingdom of God.

As you know I did not visited Madagascar in 2013. I know now it was not the time. We arrived here in a kairos moment last Saturday. Camille and Elia were at the airport to welcome Paul Taylor and me.

Since then we have taught in few places as part of what I call School of Transformation and have met leaders in all spheres of society. We also are endeavoring to identify youth, open minded pastors, business leaders, educators and real apostolic leaders to develop relationships for this nation with the main goal of serving them.

Last Monday by my request Camille, Elia and Mosa (a very clever and educated man) had prepared an encounter at the only 5 star hotel in the capital Antananarivo with market place leaders and few pastors.

Before the meeting we had lunch in the house - I should say instead palace - of a young couple. The young man is a CEO of a college and runs a couple of businesses. The meeting was marked  by sharing the religious mindset versus the kingdom mindset. He had one of his directors and a young lady, an administrative assistant with him. The Kingdom Governor, the Holy Spirit transformed that encounter in one of those synergistic meetings that can have powerful consequences for the good of this nation.

The conference at the hotel had doctors, university professors, business people, influential pastors who are part of their network. In fact, they have been meeting regularly to strategically plan to run the nation and bring tangible transformation in the country.

These people are for real. Camille had been impacted strongly by what we have shared and by the teachings of the books I gave him three years ago, Not just this but I found out that he has been really reading, studying  and thinking through all we have been publishing in these last years in blogs, emails, etc. He has been and seriously taking the challenge by implementing intentionally with others structures, processes and means to accomplish the shaping of the Madagascar soul. They have acted politically and are forming a party called "Our Madagascar".  They have TV and Radio programs just to share the Kingdom along with the strategic seven mountain messages, They have already ten thousand volunteers and many leaders positioned all over the country. They are training them and getting them ready to be mobilized. In these few days I have met many of them.

Today, Wednesday we have met the president of the pastors federation along with two other pastors. We had a profitable conversation on the Kingdom. He supervises more than 1000 churches. And in the afternoon we lectured about 40 college students of John's school, by the way they do not have only Christian, but hundreds of non-Christian students, many of them children of wealthy Malagasy. And tomorrow we will have a whole day of school of transformation. Please find attached the booklet we have prepared for these days.

From last Sunday to this coming Sunday I have asked and they have prepared an agenda in a way we are reaching out to pastors, market place leaders, health agents, educators and the youth. And by Sunday afternoon, our last meeting Camille, Elia and Mosa will bring all the leaders of their core group together so we can listen and share with them to converge all the efforts for this transformation project.

I have planted the seeds for an apostolic coalition and I am seeing a positive response for the idea, especially an interest to connect with Kingdom like minded people from US and other parts of the world.

Our goal is to leave Madagascar with four main things in place. Please, write to jsalum@thekingsnet.com for information.

I am really humbled to be part of this and thankful that Jesus had put Paul Taylor, a friend by my side to travel to this huge island that will be known for the Glory of the Lord shining at the Africa east coast to the whole earth.

I am so encouraged to serve these brothers and sisters, faithful sons of the King. This is my first report to you according to what we have spoken by phone before the trip. These brothers and sisters are calling out to each of us at ICAL to partner with them. http://www.icaleaders.com/

For the King and His kings.
